Extra:
- Ciar is what most call "Black Irish"- she has very dark hair and light eyes, the mark of descendence from Portuguese sailors.
- She has a great love and loyalty for luck- the belief runs in her family that they can be very lucky. Her parents have a joke that she is the luckiest one in the family line. (Though, she also does believe that you can make your own luck. She considers herself very blessed.)
- She keeps a four leaf clover in her hair, to avoid losing it. (Then again, she gave that clover away to a friend.) She's found three in her lifetime, so she can be considered good at fishing them out. She also recently got a Celtic knot three-leaf clover tattooed on her left shoulder.
- Ciar came from a heavily IRA-related family- she's used to being around guns, loading and firing them. She keeps two semi-automatic rifles in her apartment and sometimes carries a handgun. Also, she received her jacket from her grandfather, and it is like an heirloom to her, as it's from the first IRA riots. She lives in Portrush, closer to her college and her favorite place- the Giant's Causeway.
- Ciar's mother likes to call and bother her about when she'll get married- she has two elder sisters that are married. Ciar often likes to hang up when her mother makes these calls and refuses to tell her mother about her newest relationships. She's pressured into marrying a traditional Irish boy, but doesn't seem to like the idea as much.
- She's nearly been around the block in her relationships- among her numerous boyfriends- she has done nearly everything but have sex. Ciar is somewhat conscious about the choice after seeing what it did to many of her friends. She dislikes men that see her as nothing more than a toy or an object.
- Otherwise she is very friendly- thanks to working at a hotel by the beach, she is often helping tourists and foreigners that can't find their way around. Ciar generally likes people.
- She always wear an old, tarnished bronze key around her neck. She found it as a child and can't remember anything about it- if she loses it, she becomes very upset, thus rarely takes it off, if ever. Often does the same thing for a four leaf clover.
- When Ciar scrys, it takes a lot of energy out of her- if she does it for too long, she'll exhaust herself and pass out. Also, if the distance is long enough, she can't keep the connection open very long. She must keep her eyes closed and keep focus to open and keep a connection at all, crystal ball under her fingers. She keeps such a crystal ball nearby at most times.
- Ciar has been planning to travel to Asia since she was in her early teens. She dreams of visiting Shanghai.
